BKSTG may be a new brand, but the people behind it are not new to the industry. Formed by veteran hairstylist and makeup artist, Amelia Cooper, BKSTG is a new brand designed exclusively for professionals that need to look their best when doing business in Las Vegas.

Amelia’s flagship brand, Amelia C & Co, was established in 2011, seven years after Amelia began her freelance hair and makeup career. At the time, the agency did mostly weddings, beauty pageants, and fitness competitions. The reason the agency was so successful was the same reason it was formed in the first place; every client was treated with respect and professionalism, making the entire experience stress-free and successful. Often, events that require hair and makeup are usually high-profile and high-stress. Removing the feelings of uncertainty and self-consciousness greatly contributed to how clients experienced their event as a whole, not just the way they looked.

More than 10 years later, The Co (as it’s affectionately called) has enjoyed a robust and well-respected reputation for going above board in artist representation, industry advocacy, and community involvement. Although like most businesses, the agency buckled under the weight of 2020, it reinforced our commitment to the free agency of all artists, the flourishing gathering place that is Las Vegas, and our spirit of entrepreneurship. It is with pleasure that we present BACKSTAGE hair & makeup, an agency representing key hairstylists and makeup artists experienced working with professionals from all across the world to look their best on our global stage.
